[OOL] Constant disconnects, odd modem logs/stats

For the last 2 weeks I have been having constant internet issues. The connection will drop but my modem (TP Link TC 7620) will show all status lights as solid/fully functional. Sometimes my router (Nighthawk X6 R9000) will either show a good internet light or it will kick to red even as the modem shows everything is fine. The house was built in 1997 and the wiring was recently modified in the last 5 years as previous owner had DirecTV. When I moved in, I had the line from outside directly into the basement split once to my living room and another line running to all other TVs. I then had a second splitter for the modem and TV. Had zero issues for over 1.5 years, great signal, constant and solid speeds. In April I upgraded to my own modem and router. I ditched cable, ditched all splitters except for the line into the house. So Line In from street > Splitter > modem. No other TVs are hooked up. I could technically remove the other splitter as well but things were fine. Now though, as mentioned above, random disconnects upwards of 10 times a day occur. I called into OOL and they ran a signal test showing no issues. Saw the modem, showed great latency, strong signal, and uptime for 8 hours. I was able to call in during another outage and the tech noticed he could not see the modem, the signal was really weak, then in randomly popped to 100% perfect and the modem reported 8 hours of uptime. Modem power and SNR were in decent range. My power numbers for Channels 1-5 we're between -.1 and 2 and climbed up to around 10 in higher channels. SNR was in the low 30s. Here's where I'm not sure what, if anything, my new numbers mean. I got rid of splitter #1 in the living room. Power and SNR went up. All power numbers by channel registered at 2 or higher. SNR climbed into the 37 range. I then moved the modem down into the basement and ditched a female to female link on a coax run. Now my numbers jumped even more. Nothing is below 7dBmV and SNR is now 38.8-38.9 across the board. I have one more move which is to cut the splitter at the line into the house out and drop the modem right there but I don't know if the increase in power and SNR is really relevant. I'm still waiting to see if anything drops out with the current move to the basement. I do have a tech coming out next week to test all the lines and check outside as well. These errors repeat constantly in the logs, especially during loss of connectivity. I should mentioned all channels are locked and all up/downstream power and SNRs while are all over the place depending on my modem location, met the limits shown here: http://arris.force.com/consumers/articles/General_FAQs/SB6183-Cable-Signal-Levels
