[OOL] Have to reboot/resend signal to modem once per day since snow

OOL went out during the snow storm on Thursday (known issue according to Optimum Support). After the internet came back on, I've been having to reset the modem about once a day. Either via unplugging it or using the Optimum Support App to "refresh the signal". Once that is done, the internet is working fine again for about a day. Suggestions?
