So I was one of the ones that had boost at $14.95 that pretty much bot Ultra 101 for free when they did the upgrades. Times were good, getting 101/35 for $54.99 was awesome.
Then I get a letter saying my rate will go up to $59.99. No big deal, right? what's another $5, for Ultra, I'll deal with it.
Bill arrives ---> $74.99. :mad: :mad:
So I tried to ask them if there's anything they can do. And they pretty much said go take a walk. Got online and chatted to schedule a cancelation. Rep offered me a $49.99 promo rate, but no Ultra 101. Apparently that was the best he can do. I'm scheduled for a disconnect at end of month.
I can technically survive using my unlimited data plan on my phone, tethered to my router (ASUS RT-N66U) which allows dual WAN via USB/Tether. Latency probably sucks, but i'm in an XLTE area, so speeds will probably be better than if not comprable to basic OOL.
All that being said - anything I can do to get the 101 back at the $60 mark? OR should I bite the bullet and consider $74.99 a good deal for 101.
Rep mentioned that new customers pay $94.99 and existing pay $114.99. So basically enjoy what you have because it won't get better.
