OK so I got the e-mail from Cablevision "Coming Soon TV enhancements".
I got the update last night (box booted and did it's alpha-numeric countdown).
The "Info" bar will take up less space and allow you to see more picture on your TV screen, and the "More Info" bar and Caller ID box will have a new, improved look.
The red recording dot for DVR will be easier to see in the program guide, and the record and cancel options in the recording menu will be moved for quicker navigation.
My "info" bar looks exactly the same, it's still intrusive on picture image.
How much did it change?
(Can someone with no update post a pic, because I don't see a difference).
My Caller ID, is just black and white now, without the marbled blue background, and with an image of a phone receiver encircled...sill on the small side.
The red recording dot is just moved to the beginning of the show name in the guide grid.
I kind of was hopping for more of a change and while I appreciate the notification email they could have just made the changes and no one would have really noticed the small changes.
