Would you consider it false advertising when Altice sends you physical mailers saying that you can upgrade to fiber internet even though not one strand of Altice fiber is anywhere near you? No, I do not consider an HFC network as a fiber network and yes, I know what the "F" in HFC means. My definition of fiber internet is a strand of fiber going to an ONT in your home or, at least to an ONT on the side of one's home, just like FiOS.
