Effective Wednesday, May 1, 2013, Cablevision will launch PBS Kids Sprout in Connecticut. Sprout is a 24-hour preschool channel that parents and kids can share together. Sprout is home to trusted favorites like Sesame Street, Barney & Friends, plus innovative Sprout originals such as The Sunny Side Up Show and The Good Night Show. From morning to night, parents and kids can share everything from singing and dancing to birthday wishes and bedtime stores. Sprout will launch as a Standard Definition service only. Sprout will launch on channel 127 throughout Connecticut.
