I am in Milford CT and starting last week my DLs on my 6183 were terrible. Each time I reset it, it was better (I have 200 and typically works great) but shortly thereafter back to 1-5 meg down. The upload was always at 35 though. Called support, and I was able to escalate due to having some inside contacts. They said my neighbors looked good remotely but something was funny on my connection. Couldn’t be sure if it was the line to the house or my modem. I hated to do it, but picked up an Arris 1602 from optimum and problem gone. Here is the interesting part, a friend who has the same modern several houses away calls me today to ask if I’m having issues. Told him what I did, he did the same and of course his problems are fixed. Did Optimum kill your SB 6183 too????
