This is a stupid question but are there any downsides to powering off the modem at late night when everyone is sleeping?
My electricity bills keep climbing. I'm thinking might as well power off the modem at night since no one is using Internet then.
Aside from being a bit inconvenient to power the devices back on in the morning and maybe my IP address changes more frequently -- are there any unforeseen issues from Optimum to know?
