So I'm trying to Port my phone number from Frontier to Optimum voice I purchased the tm1602 as directed by the optimum website at the surfboard store and now after four phone calls later they are still having issues and I continue to get the runaround.
So five Representatives the fourth representative was telling me that I cannot get Optimum voice turned on I am authorized for the port but that my modem does not do the 300 Mag as required by Optimum voice and the internet I asked them to slow it down give me a hundred or 200 that's fine I also explained according to the tech sheet this should be a 640 Meg modem and it should have absolutely no issues. The only reply I can get is they need to roll a truck and install a modem which they will charge me for in the service fee I explain to them my house is wired I do wiring for a living I don't need a technician and what is the technician actually going to do he cannot provision the modem from staining in my house he's going to screw the connector on plug in the power and call someone what am I paying for technician for. After not being able to answer she transferred me to another gentleman who then explained he's trying to turn it on and it keeps on rejecting it saying not authorized does anyone know when he wanted Optimum there's obviously a provisioning problem with my account it should be very simple to turn on a phone line on a modem that salt arised and get the voice to work.
