What is Toredo and how/why is it in my port forwarding section of my router?
I did NOT make the entry. I did contact Optimum.net (on Long Island NY) today about getting my cellphone to connect via WiFi 5GHz instead of 2.4GHz. They did see the entries in my connected devices. So they were "in" my router.
Entry description said paraphrasing, "TEREDO [internal ip address] UDP->59876" . UPnP is enabled. Bad cell pic attached.
Cannot edit the port forward entry. If I disable it, somehow it is enabled right away. In a panic, I deleted the entry since it wasn't there yesterday. I was concerned that somehow the optimum rep left a tunnel backdoor into my router.
I'm also trying to configure an IP webcam, which is connected via Ethernet at moment, but I cannot access it yet. Not sure if related.
Any advice? Things to check?
[EDIT - I did Google about Teredo, but only know itsa new IP numbering system. But I don't know how port forward entry was written]
