Over the past week on a nightly basis, my d/l speeds drop from 300+mbps to less than 1mbs starting around 5:30 est.
The packet loss will last until the following morning. The service becomes completely unusable.
All speed tests have been ran connected directly to the modem provided by Optimum. No routers involved. An optimum tech was at the house a day or so ago, upgraded some cable on the house, yet still experienced the packet loss around 5:30pm.
Optimum has not been able to determine the issue, and are still troubleshooting, but curious if others have experienced this type of severe service outage?
