I don't recall modem model (it is at my father's apartment), provided by Cablevision 2 months ago during install.
The reason I ask is that he started having pixellation on his TV (but only on some channels) and intermittent internet problems about 2 weeks ago. He had similar TV problems in the past and it was due to CV equipment box outside the building getting wet after the rain. However, he never had internet from CV until 2 months ago so I don't know if it makes sense that they now occur at about the same time.
