Client has office in Elizabeth w/OOL biz class service + phones, etc.
I access via LogMeIn all machines, etc.
I get notified via my application (LogMeIn) of any issues with connections, access, etc..
I randomly check from time to time to see if computers are online, offline, all, some, none, etc.
For the most part, never really any issues, rock solid.
However, today, this afternoon, I see that the entire office is offline as of 9:14 PM last evening.
Additionally, I cannot ping anything at the office location via any means, alternate tools, etc.
So, prior to physically making a trip to investigate, I call OOL service, explain the situation, they validate there is no outage in the area and it must be some other reason (power outage, equipment failure, etc.) as they also cannot "see" any cable modems, devices, etc., also..
That call ended at 3:20 PM this afternoon.
I notify the business owner of the situation and ask if there is any knowledge of anything and I'm informed nothing known.
I prepare to leave to go and see whats happening, just prior to leaving at 3:22 PM, I see the entire office is back online and the logs show that every device became accessible, and the IP was ping-able as of 3:22 PM.
So, is it me, or is it pure coincidence that immediately after interfacing with the service rep from OOL that they entire system is back?
BTW, the device supplied by OOL for the business is a Cisco DPQ-3925.
