Nice, real nice. I am a month behind becuase, yes I needed the $72 one month. So, not only are the "restore service" fees $5 PER SERVICE, the LATE FEE is $10!
If I weren't starting school in January online, I would cancel it all. They HAD a late fee but it certainly wasn't $10... it was about 1.5% or 18% per year. Is there a point at which a late fee can be proportionately unfair to the bill itself? $10 late fee for a $72 bill? That's 15%. All other utilities charge 1.5% or 18% per year... Optimum is charging 15% per MONTH or 180% PER YEAR! HOW IS THIS LEGAL?
I will not be able to pay the past due bill until February. So i'll be paying $40 in late fees? Something's wrong with this picture. Very very wrong.
I'm looking for past bills on Optimum but haven't found them yet.
