Started on Sunday, on cable box, on cable cards, on QAM tv tuners. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting items one at a time to see if I could pin point any one device. Piped the cable directly past the splitter into one cable card device and it seemed ok. Put 2-3 items back in an 8 way splitter ... seemed ok. Tried another new splitter seemed ok. If you go with more than 2-3 splits it starts acting up or so it seems. Another neighbor on the same street pedestal says having similar pixelation issues. I called service and they checked signal at the node (thats a couple blocks away) an it was ok. They did an upgrade and reboot to my one cable box and the signals in it were Ok - but at a time when no pixelation. I am surveying other neighbors on dead end street to see if they are having issues. I just don't want the tech to show up and not find a problem due to the intermittent nature but it happens on/off all day long to various degrees. It's acting like fluctuating signal strength. Internet and phone are ok.
