Effective August 11th through August 13th, 2015, Nickelodeon will no longer be available on channel position 33 and will be replaced by WJLP on September 3rd, 2015 in all areas except, New Haven and Litchfield. WJLP is a new broadcast that has federal must carry rights to channel position 33. As a result, Optimum is legally required to remove Nickelodeon from channel position 33 to accommodate the launch of WJLP on channel position 33. Nickelodeon will remain available on channel position 121.
