[iO] Cablevision always last to add new channels

Why do we Cablevision customers always have to be the last to receive channels that most other operators have and been carrying for years such as twc,fios,rcn,dish,directv,Comcast,charter?This plays a big part in my wanting to change providers because I feel as if I'm not getting the most out of my service provider,but are limited to only 1 provider in my area.What's a person to do?Lol.
